Terms of Service
Last updated: August 22, 2026
These Terms govern access to the BTR web interface at https://btr.markets (the Interface) and related documentation and optional operator services we provide. By using the Interface or related services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
Risks of the protocol itself are described in the Risk Disclaimer. Privacy: Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
BTR (also “we”, “us”) maintains the Interface, documentation, and may run optional keepers (including oracle mark pushes) and operational tooling. Contact: contact@btr.markets.
We are not a bank, broker, exchange operator of your assets, custodian, or fiduciary. We do not take possession of your keys or tokens.
2. Interface vs protocol
| Interface | Protocol | |
|---|---|---|
| What | Website / apps we host | BTR and related smart contracts on public chains |
| Control | We may change, suspend, or discontinue access | Permissionless; others may build other UIs |
| Your trades | Routed via your wallet | Settled on-chain between you and the contracts |
Smart contracts can be used without our Interface. Interface outages do not stop the contracts.
Current status. The Interface currently connects to BTR’s public testnet deployment on Arc Testnet (chainId 5042002). Assets listed there include faucet-minted mock tokens that have no monetary value, may be reset, and exist only for evaluation. There is no mainnet deployment; nothing in these Terms is an offer of, or a commitment to, one. Parameters and upgrades (where applicable) follow on-chain roles and timelocks; they can still introduce risk.
3. Eligibility and restricted access
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction and able to form a binding contract.
You must not use the Interface if you are located in, resident of, or organized under the laws of a Restricted Country, or if you are subject to applicable sanctions. Restricted Countries are the jurisdictions we designate in our Restricted Countries list (including comprehensively sanctioned regions); the list may change and is applied as published at the time of access.
Controls (best-effort, Interface only): geo-blocking at the edge, country self-attestation on first use, and optional wallet screening against sanctions datasets for traffic through BTR-operated infrastructure. Circumventing these restrictions (VPN/proxy) is a breach of these Terms. Appeals: compliance@btr.markets. On-chain contracts remain permissionless; these controls do not authorize sanctioned use. You are responsible for knowing whether your access is lawful.
4. Your responsibilities
- Secure your wallet, devices, and keys. Lost keys mean permanent loss.
- Verify URLs, networks, and contract addresses before signing.
- Pay network gas and any protocol fees. Estimates can differ from actuals.
- Do not manipulate markets, attack the protocol, abuse incentives, or interfere with others’ use.
- Comply with tax and other laws that apply to you.
5. Fees
Network fees are set by the chain. Protocol fees (if any) are shown in the Interface before you confirm and are taken on-chain. We do not control third-party wallet or RPC fees.
6. No advice; as is
Nothing we publish is financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Displays (prices, APRs, marks, charts) may be wrong or delayed.
The Interface and related services are provided as is and as available, without warranties of merchantability, fitness, accuracy, or uninterrupted access. Experimental software may fail.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost assets, failed or frontrun transactions, oracle or keeper failures, bridge delays, third-party outages, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Interface or protocol.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of fees you paid us for Interface access in the prior three months (if any) and a nominal amount of USD 100.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights.
Mandatory consumer protections in your country (if any) are not waived.
8. Changes and suspension
We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use after the update is acceptance. We may modify, suspend, or restrict Interface access for security, legal, or operational reasons without suspending the underlying contracts.
9. Third parties
Links and integrations (wallets, RPCs, bridges, oracles, analytics) are third-party services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their failures or terms.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms do not name an operating entity or a governing jurisdiction. They are governed by the law applicable to the Interface operator, and disputes are resolved through the forum or arbitration mechanism applicable law provides. Non-waivable consumer rights in your country are not limited by this section.
11. General
If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These Terms are the entire agreement for Interface use. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may assign these Terms; you may not without our consent.
Forward-looking product or token statements are not commitments.
